Our Trees

Nordman Fir

The low drop tree – a family favourite

The Nordman Fir is a native of north east Turkey and Georgia and is probably the most popular Christmas tree in this country, one of the reasons being that it has a lovely symmetrical shape with strong layered branches.    The Nordman Fir can be a bushy tree – the ideal tree if you have a large area to fill.   The needles are shiny, mid green and soft to touch, making it a great tree for all members of the family to decorate.

Nordman Fir Trees will be on sale from 125cms to 300cms in height.

Fraser Fir

The Christmas Tree with character

The Fraser Fir tree is named after John Fraser, a Scots Botanist who explored the Appalachian Mountains in south eastern America.

Our premium quality Fraser Fir is a pyramid shaped tree with flat, shiny deep green needles that have a silvery underside.   The foliage is dense and soft – an ideal tree for all members of the family to decorate. The leaders on Fraser Firs can sometimes be slightly squint and wonky which adds to the character of the tree. The Fraser Fir is generally a narrow tree making it ideal where space is at a premium, and often, but not always, has a wonderful Christmassy perfume.   The Fraser Fir is excellent at retaining its needles.
Fraser Fir Trees will be on sale from 175cm to 250cms in height.
